Sydney and Joey Dorgan Celebrate at The Howard
Where You Sleep is Just As Important As Where You Get Married
On your wedding day, every detail matters. From the moment you wake up to the walk down the aisle, you deserve to feel calm, cared for, and surrounded by beauty. That’s why so many brides like Sydney are choosing boutique accommodations like The Doe House in Oshkosh, conveniently located next to their venue, The Howard, for the night before their wedding and as the perfect bridal “getting ready” space.
Unlike large hotels, boutique stays offer charm, intimacy, and an atmosphere designed for making memories, while providing a stunning backdrop for your content team.
Sydney’s Perfect Bridal Setup
Instead of cramming up in a small hotel room, Sydney’s morning was filled with laughter, dresses on display, and the buzz of makeup brushes. Spacious rooms and inviting gathering areas give your crew space to get ready together without feeling crowded. It’s more than practical, it creates closeness and joy that set the tone for the day ahead.
When I first walked into the Doe House, I knew that it was going to be a great day. Everyone’s energy was high, I had room to put all my stuff, and I had space to create creative content that offered the perfect blend of light and color.

“We cannot get over how perfect they are. Joey and I sat down together and watched the FOMO edit the first night he was home and were laughing and tearing up throughout. It was incredible to watch back some of our favorite moments and also be able to witness some for the first time. Since watching the first time together, we have been able to share it with our parents and friends, and they are just as in love with it as we are. I think I have watched the whole thing through like four or five times already! I am so grateful to have a piece like this to cherish year after year and be able to share with our kids and their kids one day. It is also such a great piece for us to be able to reflect on how blessed we are because you were able to capture all of the people and love there supporting us.
The highlight video is also so special. We love the music you chose and that one makes me tear up every time I watch it. I truly love having our love captured like this, and I feel it is the best way to take you back to the feelings and emotions of the day.
You we’re my last vendor booked, but truly the one I am most grateful to have found! I am so glad we decided to book a videographer in the eleventh hour and feel so lucky that it was you. You have an incredible talent for making people feel seen while also managing to capture so many of the best parts that went into making our wedding day one we want to relive for years to come. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of our day, for being so thoughtful throughout the process, and for delivering us an heirloom. I cannot recommend you enough to anyone I know looking for a videographer and I cant wait to watch your business continue to grow! We will be cheering you on as “alumni” from the sidelines and can’t wait to catch up at Stephanie and Clark’s wedding in August!
Thank you again Ian, it was such a pleasure working with you!”
